Can I apply for a loan with KeysFCU Online?

You can apply for a consumer loan through KeysFCU Online (cars, boats, personal etc.). From the main menu, click on the “Loans” icon. From there, fill out the application form and someone from the credit union will contact you.

I ran out of checks. Can I reorder checks through KeysFCU Online?

Yes, you can. Once you are logged in to Online Banking, click the “More” button then the “Reorder Checks” button. Keep in mind that if you have never ordered checks before, you will not be able to use this function. Similarly, if you would like to change any account information on your checks (e.g. address), or if you wish to change the style of checks, you will need to contact our Member Service Department at (305) 294-6622 or (800) 705-7535 to reorder your checks.

How do I sign up for eStatements?

Once you are logged in to Online Banking, click on the “statement” button. Then click on the “view your eStatements” button and follow the prompts to sign up.

What is Bill Pay and how do I sign up for it?

Bill pay is a service that sends money out of your account to whomever you choose. The payment can be in the form of a physical check that is mailed to the recipient of your choosing, or an electronic payment from your account. You can set it up to be automatic so that you don’t have to worry about paying your bills on time anymore!

To sign up for Keys Free Bill pay service, you must first login to KeysFCU Online Banking. From the main menu, click on “Bill Pay” and begin setting up your account. From there you can add payees, schedule payments and much more!

What are eAlerts and how do I sign up for them?

eAlerts are free messages sent from Keys Federal Credit Union directly to your inbox. Messages cover important hurricane information, special CD rates, product announcements, fraud alerts and more. You can sign up for those topics that you are interested in.

To sign up, click on “eAlerts” on the front page of the website and follow the prompts.

I use America Online to access KeysFCU Online and it doesn’t work correctly or I get signed off. What can I do to get connected?

If you find that you are having trouble browsing your accounts in KeysFCU Online through your AOL connection, you may need to upgrade your browser through AOL, or use a stand alone browser such as Internet Explorer.

Certain functions of KeysFCU Online (such as statement printing) may not work even though you upgraded because of limitations in the AOL browser. If this happens, you may want to talk to AOL about using an external browser.

When I use KeysFCU Online, a message pops up on my screen saying that my security certificate expired. What does this mean, and what should I do about it?

As an online Keys Federal Credit Union member, you may be unaware that Netscape Navigator 4.05 or earlier browsers and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 and 4.5 for Macintosh computers include security certificates that expired.

The SSL connection between KeysFCU Online and your browser is secure. This is not a security risk. To address this issue, you may do one of two things:

• Click past the warning. The warning is just an alert. You can click “continue” to pass it, however, you will continue to receive the warning whenever you attempt to access a site using SSL encryption.
• Upgrade your browser and download the latest version.

Unfortunately you cannot access KeysFCU Online using Web TV at this time.

Can I view my cleared checks through KeysFCU Online?

Yes, you can! Simply log in to your account, click on the “Accounts” button, and click on “Cleared Checks.” You will be able to view up to 120 days of history of your cleared checks.

When trying to download past transactions, I get a message that it is not available.

This message means one of the following:

• There have been no transactions on your account within the past 90 days.
• The information you are requesting is greater than 90 days or does not exist in the most recent 100 transactions. KeysFCU Online can only download the transactions that are displayed on your screen at the time the download button appears.
• You may have already downloaded the transactions for the criteria that you selected. The KeysFCU Online system keeps track of which transactions have been downloaded and will not retransmit them.

When I try to print my statement, the last page doesn’t print, or the statement doesn’t line up correctly. And sometimes I can hardly read the numbers and dates on the screen. What can I do?

In order to clarify the numbers and dates, you may be able to increase the font size. However, when it comes to printing, your browser may be conflicting with the program causing either the last page not to print or not to line up the statement. You could try going through a stand alone browser and see if that makes a difference.

How do I download account information in order to use Quicken or MS Money software?

From the Main Menu, click on “View Accounts” button. Choose the account you want to download, and click on the “View More” button. Click on the ‘download” button on the top of the account screen. Select the document type (Money, Quicken or Excel) and select the date range (ensure you do not overlap the date range with existing dates in your Quicken on your PC. This will result in duplicate entries.) Then click on “Download.”

The next step depends on the browser you are using. If you use Internet Explorer the process is as follows: After you have clicked on “Continue” the file will be displayed as plain text. Click on “File” and select “Save As” to save the file as a text file (make sure you know the path/directory where the file is being stored). Using the Windows Explorer rename the text file by replacing the .txt extension with .gif, then import that file into Quicken or MS Money. If you are using Netscape you will get a Save As dialog box prompting you to select an area in which to store the saved file on your PC. Ensure you have a directory selected so you will get a “Save AS” dialog box prompting you to select an area in which to store the saved file on your PC. Ensure you have a directory selected so that you may find the file easily after downloading it. Click on “Save” to begin the download process. Once the file is downloaded into your PC you are ready to import it into your financial software.

After I make a transfer, is my account balance correct?

All transactions are processed in real time, so your reflected available balance will be correct. However, if your transactions are processed after business hours or over weekends, the actual transaction will not be reflected in the history until the next business day.

Will I always be able to see transactions I perform immediately?

Your balance will always reflect the transaction immediately. However, if your transaction was performed after business hours or on a weekend, they will not be reflected in the history until the next business day.

When making a transfer, why am I getting the message that this function is not available?

If you hit the enter key at any point, the system will not allow you to complete the transaction. In this case, you will need to go back and start over.

What steps has Keys Federal Credit Union taken to protect my account information?

Security on the Internet is a big concern, and we are committed to using the latest security features available. We take security seriously! Some of the security features of KeysFCU Online include:

• Firewall – This protects our internal computers from the outside forces of the Internet. The KeysFCU Online server is located behind the firewall so your information is always secure.
• Secure Socket Layer (SSL) that encrypts the data – Up to 128 bit security, the maximum allowed by law. All account information is always encrypted.
• Individual Passwords - A password is required every time you perform a transaction on KeysFCU Online.
• Password Violations Lockouts – You are allowed to enter your password six times before your account access is denied. When this happens, you will need to call our Member Services Department to have the violation block removed.
• “Cookies” – KeysFCU Online uses “cookies” as a part of our security. The “cookie” does not contain any confidential information about your account, but it keeps track of your activity and your current sign-on status. Every time you request a new page, your browser sends the “cookie” back to our server for verification, and then our server updates your computer with a new “cookie.” This is just one of the ways we protect your account information.
• Inactive Session Timeout – After ten minutes of inactivity, KeysFCU Online will automatically sign you off
