Tools for Weathering the Storm

Essential Financial Tools for Storm Readiness.

  • Get cash out. Following a storm electricity can be out for a few hours to several days. During this time ATMs may be down and card payments may be unavailable.

  • Have your Keys MasterCard Debit Card and PIN handy. As a storm approaches banks may limit the amount of cash you can withdraw. You can use your Debit Card to pay for goods, get cash back, and withdraw funds from ATMs while you are on the road. Your card has worldwide acceptance and you can use it, at no charge, at any Publix Presto ATM.

  • Enroll in Online Banking to access your accounts from anywhere. It provides a secure and convenient way to pay bills, make transfers, check balances, and more.

  • Take your checks. These provide an alternative payment method and have your routing and account numbers on them. You may need these numbers to apply for emergency funding with federal agencies.

  • Download the Keys FCU Mobile Banking App to your smartphone and enjoy all the advantages of Online Banking PLUS Mobile Check Deposit on the go.

  • Follow us on social media and sign up for eAlerts. Keys FCU will post updated information on branch closures, ATM availability, branch re-openings and more, via www.KeysFCU.org, our social media sites, and eAlerts.

  • Ensure your personal and emergency contact information is updated in case we need to contact you about your account.

Tips for Easy, Every Day, Money Management.

  • Download our Keys Card Manager App to manage your Keys Debit Mastercard and Keys Visa Credit Cards. View transactions, set alerts, controls and travel notices, turn your cards off and on, and more.

  • Enroll in account management alerts in Online Banking. Choose to be alerted about a low balance, transfers, deposits and more. After logging in choose Accounts and then Account Alerts.

  • Apply for a Keys Visa Credit Card to help cover unexpected expenses, reserve hotels and rent cars.

  • Open a Keys Redi-Cash Line of Credit for overdraft protection. It will automatically cover your transactions if your account balance runs low. See any branch member for details.

  • Sign up for Direct Deposit. Your paycheck will be automatically deposited into your account even if you are out of town or our branches are closed.

  • Connect your accounts at other financial institutions to your Keys FCU accounts with Keys EzPay. It is FREE to transfer money to and from other people and financial institutions.

  • Use Keys Bill Pay to make payments and set up one time or recurring payments in Online or Mobile Banking.
